Simplicity, rather than complexity, is key to a Katharina Stuart design.
Her unerring eye for floral art potential enables her to highlight each blossom to its fullest. She uses unique materials, depending on what atmosphere is asked. For example, a bride who wanted to create a sense of the ocean, salt air and pounding surf was delighted to discover that delicate shells had been woven into her floral arrangements.
Katharina apprenticed for three years to a Zurich, Switzerland, floral designer. She studied design, color, botany, principles of design and flower and plant care for three years and earned her degree in floral design from the Swiss Florist Society.
Katharina is a member of the American Institute of Floral Designers AIFD and California Certified Florist CCF.
Her twenty-two years of experience have honed her organizational abilities, as well as her artistic sensibilities.
